We need you to make our family album complete!

Help us put faces with names. Our Directory Committee has chosen Lifetouch to help us put together a new Calvary church directory for 2010. Lifetouch provides a cost-effective, convenient, and professional service for this purpose.

Cost effective: No cost to Calvary and no session fees to you! Each participating family receives a compimentary 8x10 portrait and full-color directory. The only cost is if you purchase additional photos or products.
Convenient: Lifetouch sets up their photography studio at Calvary. At your session you will check-in, be professionally photographed, immediately view your portraits, and have an opportunity to purchase additional portraits.
Professional: Photographers are professionals and their equipment is digital, high quality, professional equipment. The directory is full-color and includes ministry pages, member picture pages, and member directory information pages.

There are still four days left for which to schedule portrait sessions. The days are in September. The complete list of dates and times is listed below.

You can schedule an appointment online by clicking on the "portrait sign up" picture above, right. The link will take you to the Lifetouch online scheduling page. Just follow the directions posted on the page. You may also cancel or change an appointment at a later date using the login and password you created when making your initial appointment.

An updated church picture directory helps you connect names to faces and allows everyone to become better acquainted with fellow members.
The only cost to you and to Calvary for a portrait session is time!
Every family photographed will receive a free 8”x10” portrait & full color directory—just for participating!
There will be three photographers on-site for the sessions allowing for smoother, faster appointment times. Portrait viewing immediately follows your session and is done with your photographer. (No high pressure salesman!)
You will have the opportunity to purchase additional portraits or portrait products such as greeting/Christmas cards!
Full color directories will be available to every family this fall.
In addition, every member will receive a unique password (which you may change) and have access to a secure online directory. Each family has the ability to update their own personal information and may opt to hide or to show that information to other members. (The online directory will not be available to the general public.)
Everyone is strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Families with college students are encouraged to take advantage of the summer (August) sessions—before students return to school.

Tips from the professionals at Lifetouch:

Before Your Portrait Session
Allow for about an hour to:

~Check-in
~Be photographed
~View your electronic portrait images and select your directory pose
~Purchase products
Remember that you can purchase portrait products at your session. Portraits make wonderful gifts and treasured family keepsakes. If you choose to purchase additional portraits, we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

If you can't make it to your organization's directory portrait event, you can attend the event of a nearby religious organization and still have your portrait included in your directory. Contact Kim for more information and help in scheduling.

Grooming

~Make sure nails are trimmed and clean.
~Simple hairstyles and natural makeup are best.
~Don't get your hair cut within 48 hours of your portrait sitting. Ideally, haircuts should happen 2 weeks prior.
~Have any hair and makeup supplies available for quick touch-ups.

Clothing

~Solid colors or simple patterns look best. Busy patterns on clothing are distracting.
~Medium to dark shades create a timeless look & are slenderizing.
~Small jewelry/accessories compliment your face better. Avoid large, distracting accessories.
~Make sure your shoes match your outfit. They might show in some poses.
~Long sleeves are better for adults to focus attention on the face. Short sleeves are ok for infants and children.
~Your glasses are a part of you, so feel free to wear them. Our photographers are trained to minimize any glare.
